Women in Digital Health
I co-founded Women in Digital Health, a partner of the HIMSS Women in Health IT Community, where we give women working in healthcare, and women's health more visibility. Our goals include promoting their causes, connecting them, (helping them) become leaders, and to make an impact on fundamental topics that continue to shape our future. I also support a learning platform that promotes digital health literacy.
Everyone should have access to adequate healthcare. It cannot be that people are driven into financial ruin when they undergo treatment, or that every eleven seconds, a pregnant woman or newborn baby dies.
Making an impact on health equity is one of the most purposeful things I can imagine. It’s also one of the reasons why we founded Women in Digital Health.
Despite the crazy pandemic times, there are still people around the world striving to make an impact, working tirelessly for patients and saving their lives.
At HIMSS, our vision is to realize the full health potential of every human, everywhere. Be part of the community that’s transforming the global health ecosystem with courage, curiosity and determination.
